I wrote this theme in 1992 for Doug Towey at CBS Sports, and little did I know then what an iconic theme this would become. I am very, very grateful.

I wrote this awhile ago, but it’s having a kind of renaissance this year. ESPN has brought the theme back (see the “ESPN Front Row” article on my Press page). I didn’t realize how popular the theme was until I went on YouTube and searched for it.

I never got a chance to score the show, but HBO asked me to score two promos for them.

This was a promo that I got to write at the last minute but for which I was lucky enough to be nominated for a Sports Emmy. It’s a lot of fun — very “tongue in cheek.”
